KYOCERA AVX Launches Compact Tantalum Capacitors for Space-Limited Applications
KYOCERA AVX, a globally renowned provider of electronic components and interconnection solutions, has launched its latest TAJ series of Tantalum capacitors, tailored for everyday use with a focus on slim profiles and industry-standard enclosures.
The TAJ series capacitors showcase a broad capacitive range from 0.10 to 2200 µF and are available with a tolerance range of ±10% and ±20%. These capacitors boast a maximum voltage capacity of 50 V and are designed to function consistently across a wide temperature spectrum of -55°C to +125°C.
Crafted with dependability in mind, the Tantalum capacitors undergo rigorous surge testing, ensuring a dependability rate below 1% failure per 1000 hours at 85°C, with a 60% certainty. The product line features surface-mount technology compatibility, with a selection of seventeen different case sizes to accommodate varied design requirements. The capacitors have profile heights ranging between 1.00 mm (0.039″) and 2.00 mm (0.079″), adapting to assorted standard case sizes including 2312, 1206, 0805, 1210, and 2917.
Thanks to their compact design, these capacitors are ideal for integration into general-purpose low-power DC/DC converters, LDO voltage regulators, multimedia and automotive entertainment systems, and any space-sensitive electronic assembly.
In adherence to current environmental standards, these capacitors are RoHS-compliant and are delivered in lead-free packaging, sustaining optimal performance levels.
