Bourns Introduces High-Power, Zero-Ohmic Jumper Resistors Ideal for Telecommunications and Automotive Sectors
Bourns, a prominent producer and distributor of electronic components specializing in solutions for power, protection, and sensing, has recently unveiled its Model CRF Series High Power Metal Strip Jumper. Recognized as zero ohm resistors, these jumpers are designed to bridge non-connectable points on a PCB, which can't be linked through printed traces. The new high power jumpers from Bourns, compliant with AEC-Q200 standards, offer an improved current capacity and reduced resistance when compared with traditional thick film jumpers. This makes them highly applicable in a wide array of sectors including consumer electronics, industrial equipment, telecommunication systems, and automotive technology.
Constructed from a copper alloy and coated with a durable protective layer, the Model CRF Series zero ohm jumpers by Bourns come in an array of footprint sizes such as 0805, 1206, 2010, and 2512, while maintaining a maximum resistance as low as 0.2 milliohms. These jumpers boast an impressive ability to handle high currents up to 100 A and can operate within a temperature range from -55 °C to +150 °C. Bourns ensures ease of assembly by offering these jumpers in tape and reel packaging.
Now available on the market, the Bourns Model CRF Series high-power metal strip jumpers adhere to RoHS directives and are free from halogens, further confirming the company's commitment to environmental standards and safe applications.
