Deutsche Aircraft Selects Crane Aerospace & Electronics for Brake Control System Supply
Crane Aerospace & Electronics, a division of Crane Co., has been chosen to provide the brake control system for Deutsche Aircraft's upcoming D328eco regional turboprop. The aviation technology firm will outfit the environmentally conscious aircraft with its advanced Mark V brake-by-wire system.
Featuring state-of-the-art upgrades, the Mark V system from Crane A&E integrates sophisticated features like Brake Temperature Monitoring and Autobrakes, ensuring peak braking efficiency across all landing scenarios. The Autobrake system, operable via digital interface, enables precise, automated brake applications without pilot intervention. This system not only mitigates pilot workload with its selectable deceleration levels for smoother landings but also bolsters safety during emergency maneuvers. Furthermore, it lays groundwork for potential future functionalities, such as automatic landing capabilities (AutoLand).
