Infineon Unveils New High- and Medium-Voltage GaN Devices for Enhanced Efficiency and Performance

Infineon introduces these latest GaN devices:
- High Voltage (HV) CoolGaN G5 Family (650V): This next-generation product line, manufactured on high-performance 8-inch in-house foundry processes, caters to applications in consumer electronics, data centers, industrial automation, and solar energy. It builds upon Infineon's existing GIT-based high-voltage GaN technology.
- Medium Voltage (MV) CoolGaN G3 Family (40V-120V): This family, also manufactured on the 8-inch process, encompasses CoolGaN Transistors (voltage classes 60V, 80V, 100V, and 120V) and 40V bidirectional switches (BDS). Ideal for applications in motor drives, telecommunications, data centers, solar, and consumer electronics, this family offers exceptional performance and efficiency.
